Face-to-face workshops can be delivered at your own venue (with a minimum charge for 10 attendees plus 43 pence per mile from BN43 5EG). With less than 10, you can access one of our open courses (call or email us and tell us where you are located).

Levels of training available
Foundation courses Offer good ‘practical’ refresher course or are ideal for those new to administering medication. Accredited workbooks provide the Skills for Care Knowledge Set for Medication (Optional assessment of knowledge and accredited certificate available - see assessments)
Intermediate courses Develop upon a carer’s basic knowledge and provide further guidance and training to deal with common medication issues .Adapted to suit a variety of care settings including home care, learning disabilities and dementia.
Custom courses Workshops developed specifically to you needs, call us to discuss your requirements.
Assessors courses For those with a role in staff training and assessing competency.

All foundation courses include a distance learning workbook covering the Skills for Care Knowledge Set for Medication (£27.50 when purchased individually).

Assessing staff competency in safe handling of medication |
|

CQC require care providers to have a formal system by which they assess the competency of staff who administer medication. This workshop will provide you with the knowledge, tools and skills to do this and suitable for carers and nurses working in a variety of care setting.

Workshops for nurses and care workers who are required to manage some of the common medicines and conditions faced by clients with mild to profound learning disabilities.
